Neuro Focus (ADHD)

Neuro Focus Therapy. What is Neuro Focus?

There are several conditions associated with abnormal regional blood flow to the brain, of which ADHD/ADD is the main condition. Due to the many side effects of known drug interventions, we offer an alternative therapy, called Neuro Focus.

Neuro Focus makes use of a concept called hem electroencephalography (HEG) biofeedback. It is an operant to conditioning training technique that helps individuals learn to increase oxygen carrying blood to certain areas of the brain by doing simple tasks like reading. The main aim of Neuro Focus Therapy is to improve concentration.

A Test of Variables of Attention, (T.O.V.A.) is administered before and after a series of therapy sessions to monitor progress. The TOVA test measures response time, consistency, inattention, and impulsivity; the variables associated with focus and concentration.

TOVA is a well established psychometric test that has been used in hundreds of peers to review scientific papers. Therapy includes two sessions per week, as determined by the TOVA test.
